Android interfacing applet on mobile SIM card

Hi,

I have written a helloworld applet and successfully installed it on a SIM card.
I am wondering if there is a way on android devices to send/receive APDUs to/from contact SIM cards inserted to mobile slots.
Has anyone had any similar experience?
P.S: I don't want to root my android phone.

please let me know if it is not the proper place to ask my question.
