How to know files'ID present in my card

If I don't know my card file structure, can I gain card files'ID by setting P1-P2=0000 to P1-P2=FFFF? If I do so, will my card be locked? I know this is a stupid method, but is there any other ways?

I will not suggest this. You can simply ask your vendor about file structure present in your card.
