Hi, rena.
This should be the problem of this App.
If the chip manufacturer of IFD
A40CR card is NXP, it won't show the "IC type" as "Unknown IC".

I received information that stated the FT-JAVA/
A40CR card uses the SLE77CLFX2400PM.
Although Infineon states that the chip is capable of RSA up to 4096, the implementation
on the card is limited to 2048. ECC is optional from the card issuer. I wish it was enabled.
This would make a great OpenPGP card if it were.

Hi,
1. IFD
A40CR card doesn't support RSA 4096.
If you request higher level security than RSA2048, we suggest to use ECC.
2. IFD
A40CR card doesn't support ECC due to the lack of space. But we have
A22CR which supports ECC algorithm.

Sorry for the long turnaround on reply. Thank you for the information. Is there a minimum quantity when asking for the EC option?

Hi Phoenyx,
There is no minimum quantity when asking for the ECC option. You can buy the cards with the quantity according to your needs.
Please be sure to tell us specific requirement about the cards before shopping. Thanks
