Help formatting Jcop21/J2A040 cards prior to writing on emv chip with X2 all in 1

I am also looking for help trying to format Java card to a J2A040 Jcop21 card. I’m just trying to use X2 all in 1 software with these cards but I have to format card first and can’t figure out how can anyone help please I’ve been going through this site and YouTube trying to reach myself but I’m on hour 35 😤😩and about to have a meltdown lol help is greatly appreciated

in my experience, x2 software make all the job by itself.... why you think you have to format your card? does it have any memory spaceproblem or something like that? are you trying to safe a visa track on the jcop? some visa cryptograms are larger and need more space in memory than mc.... so maye you need a j2a080 instead j2a040.... maybe iam wrong.... anyway you can format your card followinf this steps (you have to have the mcgyver .cap andf also you have to run this on the gpshell )....
