what is the "Feitian R502 SAM1 Reader 0"?

when I use the FeiTian R502 Reader, there lists three reader names, but the R502 Reader is a dual-interface smart card reader, what is the third reader ?

Used to communicate with SAM module. There is a SAM card slot in the R502 reader. You use it when you develop SAM.
