Our Online Store have the new products: RFID antenna board. Currently it can work with JC10M24R and JCOP4 card chips.
Compared with normal cards, the antenna board module has a smaller size and fixed holes, which is easy to integrate in the IOT(Internet Of Things) project.

Received J3H145 and need help

Post by ThePhoenyx » Thu Jan 09, 2020 7:37 pm

I got my cards today and I want to run the JCAlg test on one. Using gp, I'm trying to install the test cap to the card using gp --install capname and I'm getting the following:

Warning: no keys given, using default test key 404142434445464748494A4B4C4D4E4F
Failed to communicate with card in JnaCardTerminal{scardHandle=SCardContext{cd00000100000001}, name=Dell Smart Card Reader Keyboard 0}: Transmit failed: SCardTransmit got response 0x80100068 (SCARD_W_RESET_CARD: The smart card has been reset, so any shared state information is invalid.)
PC/SC failure: SCARD_W_RESET_CARD

Is there a code that I should give it or something I'm doing wrong? When I do a gp --info it gives me all the info with only one warning < [WARN] GPData - Invalid CPLC date: 4544 > (angle brackets are mine).

Thanks for any help!

Never mind I installed JCIDE and then tried pyAPDU and it loaded and installed it without any issues. The GP program must need to be updated, it might be using older codes that the J3H145 doesn't like. JCAlg cap installed and it's running thru as I'm typing this.

Hello..

Can you please mention the Java Card Specification and Global Platform Specification of your Java Card (J3H145) on which you managed to install CAP file using JCIDE and pyAPDU tool?

Because I am planning to buy a Java Card that works with JCIDE and pyAPDU tool.

Thanks!

The Card spec is 3.0.4 classic and the GP is version 2.2.1, bought them here at the javacardos.com store. If you need the rsa 4096 capability email them with the order confirmation number at javacardos@gmail.com and let them know. There was no price change when I did so.
