I have several types of java cards(J3A080,J3D081, A40CR,A22CR).

Is it possible to check the failed authentication counter?
Is it possible to check if the cards have been already blocked due to too much failed tries?

No. But it is possible to change the threshold for locking a card.

Yes! The card will be in the TERMINATED state, so all commands except GET DATA will fail.
