Description 

The  must be a valid index into the local variables of the current frame ([[3.5_Frames| Section 3.5, Frames]]). The local variable at  must contain a short. The value in the local variable at  is pushed onto the operand stack. 

Notes 

Each of the sload_ instructions is the same as sload with an index of , except that the operand  is implicit.
